Not getting the right quality or quantity of sleep affects our daily performance and productivity, leading to fatigue, difficulty in decision making, irritability, and memory impairment. Sleepiness is dangerous and increases the risk for automobile and workplace accidents. Poor sleep contributes to depression, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
